THE MORAL DOCUMENT- OUR CONSTITUTION

As the trends of thought begin to divide the people of America into two lines, those who cling to the most sacred of all governmental documents- The Constitution of the United States, a document that has not only guaranteed but has delivered the greatest liberty, the greatest happiness, the greatest opportunity that has ever been given a people, and those who look upon this document as a mere legal phrasing, only as a paper that was good enough when written, but not good enough for our ultra-modern age, it is time for every right thinking person to remain unshaken by those intoxicated minds that are ever ready to guarantee that which no system can or intends to deliver.

Our Constitution is a moral document, a statement of principles, the voice of Brotherhood. It is understood by the simple and the great if the hearts of both are attuned to Right. Tolerance and Justice represent the sceptre of the ruler and the governed under our Constitution. It is as old and as modern as Truth because it was written by men who knew that Freedom was not granted by government but was granted by the Wisdom of God, and that as long as government did not check that relationship between man and his Creator, it was performing its rightful function.

You can be modern in your thinking without throwing aside a Moral Document penned by men who sought to establish a government in which men could be free to walk their unobstructed paths with God.
